We realize how gratifying it is to utilize the webcams while you are away, however, there may be times this is not possible (due to technical difficulties or software compatibility issues). Listed below you will find some suggestions that may help you in viewing your pet through our webcams. Unfortunately, we can not guarantee that our webcams will work with all tablets, mobile devices or computers. We hope these tips help, and you are able to view your pet enjoying his/her stay at The Barkwood Inn Pet Resort!
You must use Internet Explorer as your browser to view our website and webcams. Mozilla, Google Chrome, Safari and other browsers will not work properly.
When viewing all of our Indoor Webcams, be sure to have either "Java" (versions 7.5 or higher are NOT compatible with our cameras) or "Active X" installed on your device.
When viewing our Outdoor Webcams, be sure you have the latest version of "Quicktime Media Player" installed on your device.
Be sure to allow "pop-ups" on our website.
If D-Link (the manufacturer of the cameras) asks permission to install software, please accept.
Further instructions are listed below if you continue to have difficulties with the Outdoor Webcams.
Open up your Start menu and click on "Control Panel".
Then click on "Network and Internet".
Then click on "Internet Options".
Then click on "Security".
Then click on "Trusted Sites".
Then click on "Sites".
Be sure the little box "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" is not checked. Then close out window and retry Outdoor Webcams.
